Spices-Bourbon

Royal Bourbon is one of La Pimenterie's signature creations. This handcrafted sauce combines the aromatic depth of Middle Eastern spices with the rich, chocolatey power of habanero peppers. The velvety sweetness of dates balances the heat, while a touch of bourbon adds roundness and character. The result is a bold, refined, and perfectly balanced hot sauce that transports you between the Orient and the Americas.

Habanero_Chocolat

Chocolate Habanero

A cultivar native to the Caribbean, the chocolate habanero pepper is rarer than its red cousin. It develops a more intense heat as well as deep, almost earthy and smoky notes, reminiscent of cocoa. Grown in Quebec, it adds character to our artisanal hot sauces.

Ingredients

Dates

These small dried fruits are a concentrate of sweetness. We use them to add a touch of caramel and honey to our sauces. They're the ingredient that allows us to create sauces that are both sweet and spicy, for a perfect balance of flavor and heat.

Cocoa

It's used for its bitter, earthy, and slightly fruity flavor. It adds an unexpected complexity to our sauces. It's added to create unique flavor profiles, often inspired by Mexican cuisine, revealing another side of the chili pepper.

Spices

This is the heart of our recipes. Spices are used for their complexity and ability to create a symphony of flavors. We combine them to create unique profiles that take us on a journey in a single bite, while providing unforgettable warmth and length.

Producers

Quebec

Our sauces are made entirely in Montreal, using peppers grown right here in Quebec. Each bottle embodies our passion for authentic flavor, well-balanced heat, and respect for the terroir. It's our way of bottling the richness of Quebec, one pepper at a time.
